Mollösund
Our house is located in the well-maintained area of Tången, which is a few hundred meters east of the old community of Mollösund. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the center, where there is a good selection of shops and restaurants. Tången has its own harbor with a private sandy beach and communal facilities. Our house also includes a boathouse with all the equipment for a perfect day by the shore.
We have adapted the accommodation for 6 people to live comfortably. If you don’t have too high demands on comfort, it’s possible to squeeze in an additional 2-3 people.
The house is a semi-detached house built in 2005. On the ground floor, there are 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, and a living room with access to the terrace. Upstairs, there is a large bedroom and a lounge with a TV.
The house is winterized with underfloor heating, a wood-burning stove, sauna, and a jacuzzi. Mollösund in winter can be as harsh as it is beautiful and fascinating.
We want responsible and conscientious tenants. We have set an age limit of 25 years and reserve the right to deny rental if we are uncertain.

Living Room
The living room has an open floor plan with the dining area and kitchen. The room is open up to the roof ridge with large windows facing the terrace. The influx of light and the ceiling height give a wonderful feeling of space in the room.
The seating area consists of a 3-seater sofa, an armchair, and some ottomans with a large round coffee table in the middle. The display cabinet contains all kinds of glassware to enhance the stay. There is also a wood-burning stove, and firewood is available during the winter months.
A 32″ wall-mounted picture TV (Samsung The Frame) always displays sun in the weather report.
From the living room, you can access the terrace with the large dining table for 8 people.
Kitchen
The kitchen is relatively compact but still functional and practical. It is fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable holiday stay. A small kitchen island facing the dining area provides extra workspace.
Existing spices, dry goods, oils, tea, and other condiments are free to use.
There is a new induction stove, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, and microwave. Additionally, there is a coffee maker, Nespresso machine, and SodaStream available
Dining area
The dining area is directly adjacent to the kitchen and has seating for 6 people. If needed, it’s possible to accommodate an additional 2 people at each end of the table. High chairs and Stokke chairs are available if needed.
Bathrooms
There are two bathrooms on the ground floor, both fully tiled and well-maintained. The larger one is equipped with an accessible toilet, towel warmer, jacuzzi, and sauna.
The smaller bathroom features a toilet, shower cabin, towel warmer, washing machine, and dryer.
A hairdryer, iron, ironing board, and drying rack are also available for your convenience.
Large bedroom
The large bedroom on the ground floor has a 160 cm wide double bed (medium softness). There are also clothes hangers on the wall and storage boxes under the bed.
Small bedroom
The small bedroom on the ground floor has a bunk bed with a double bed at the bottom. The mattresses are of foam type and are 80 and 120 cm wide.
Here, two people can sleep comfortably, but with a bit of coziness, it’s possible for two people to sleep in the lower bed. There are clothes hangers and storage under the bed for clothes and belongings
Upper bedroom
The third bedroom is located upstairs. Here, there is a 180 cm wide Hilding continental bed from MIO. Clothing storage is available behind the curtain.
TV lounge
On the upper floor, there is a lounge area with a 55″ LG 4k TV connected to an Apple TV. There is also a sofa bed in this area, serving as the house’s 2 extra beds. Additionally, the lounge includes a small desk and a walk-in closet.
Terrace
The terrace is southwest-facing and enjoys sunlight for most of the day. It features a large dining group with seating for 8 people, a lounge area with a corner sofa, two rocking chairs, and two sun loungers. In the covered space between the guest cabin and the house, there are two hanging chairs. An evening barbecue can be prepared with the Weber gas grill. A large awning covers half of the terrace, providing shade from the midday sun. Two infrared heaters under the awning are available for the evening chill
Boathouse
Down in Tången’s harbor, we have our boathouse. Here, you’ll find everything you need for a day at the beach: fishing gear, crab fishing rods, sun loungers, life jackets, wetsuits, water toys, stand-up paddleboards (SUP), a windsurfing board, and beach mattresses.
